Smart Depth

The Vivid S6 features Smart Depth in both 2D and color mode. Smart Depth automatically changes the frequency, focus position and transmit pattern as the user changes depth. This ensures the highest ultrasound resolution at shallow depths and optimal penetration at greater depths.

Mobility and Visibility

The lightweight design of the Vivid S6 system provides a small footprint and easy maneuverability. The 17” flat screen monitor has wide angle visibility and incorporates an auto sensor which adjusts appropriate brightness and contrast levels in any lighting condition, maximizing display clarity and minimizing eye strain.

At the core of the Vivid family of cardiovascular ultrasound systems is GE’s legendary TruScan imaging platform.

GE’s TruScan imaging platform allows the ultrasound data to be digitally acquired and stored in a raw format to preserve the integrity of the data. The images can then be viewed, measured, optimized and analyzed from the system or EchoPAC Dimension workstation at any time, without losing any of the original image quality.

The ultra-small size of the Vivid i makes it ideal for fitting into crowded operating theaters.

The easy-to-use Vivid i significantly increases clinical productivity with time-saving features, such as an integrated EchoPAC with image data review, analysis, patient archive and reporting capabilities. A wide range of innovative connectivity options, via LAN or wireless networking, facilitate efficient data management and improve productivity.

  • Full DICOM connectivity with embedded raw data speeds exams by allowing you to perform post-exam quantitative analyses at your convenience on the integrated EchoPAC or optional EchoPAC Dimension workstation.
  • MPEGvue option compresses images into compact file sizes. These high quality images can be transferred to any compatible media or network, or e-mailed directly for viewing.
  • eVue option permits remote interactive monitoring of images on any PC, via wired or wireless network communication, for fast and convenient consultations.
  • Virtual Printer option can save printed images acquired during the examination on the system in a special queue to be printed at the user’s convenience.
