Course Objectives
- Recognizing the common congenital heart diseases
- Use of Doppler techniques to assess severity and hemodynamic significance
- How to integrate the physical, radiography, and electrocardiography in the characterization of these conditions
- Role of saline contrast in evaluation of right to left shunting
- Therapeutic options for select congenital malformations, as well as indications and limitations for these interventions
Who should attend
- Veterinarians and technicians who have completed the DVM Imaging Program, Advanced Echocardiography Doppler & Hemodynamics class, or the Veterinary Technician Imaging Program and wish to continue the Sound-Eklin education series to enhance their knowledge of echocardiography to a higher level.
