Course Objectives
This is an image-rich course using case examples to cover key concepts of echocardiographic diagnosis.
- Integration of echocardiographic findings and complimentary diagnostic data such as thoracic radiographs, ECG, and physical examination will be stressed
- Therapeutic decision making based on the aforementioned integration of available diagnostics will be emphasized
- The content of the course is significantly influenced by the goals of the participants. Active participation by all attendees is strongly encouraged
- Participants are welcome (but not required) to bring two or three cases for review
Who should attend
- The course is designed for Veterinarians with at least a moderate amount of imaging experience. Participants should have a firm grasp on the interpretation of standard right and left sided imaging planes as well as the basics of Doppler imaging
