Course Objectives

  • This course will cover a basic to intermediate level of the abdomen, encompassing anatomy, physics, principles, knobology, image acquisition and protocols, normals, abnormals, case studies, “what to do if” scenarios, and touch on doppler. This course is designed for Residents and Specialists that need 40 hours of abdominal ultrasound with a Boarded Radiologist to build their level of proficiency and satisify the requirements of the ACVIM.

  • Interns, Residents and Specialists who need a refresher, or are expected to know abdominal ultrasound.
